We offer many different kiteboarding lessons packages for all levels of riders in Long Island & NYC. We have trained literally thousands of people to kitesurf safely. We offer a wide variety of lessons and clinics for beginners, intermediate, and advanced riders. We supply all the gear except for wetsuits. A La Carte Lessons
The FIRST STEP: Kiteboarding LAND COURSE for Beginners
In this course you will learn about the wind and its effects on kiting,
how to properly and safely launch, fly and land a 3m trainer kite. You
will learn all necessary hand signals and kite safety. After this course you will be self-sufficient
with a trainer kite and will be prepared to practice on your own and get yourself prepared for the next step.
2 hrs. instruction
The SECOND STEP: Kiteboarding WATER COURSE-1
With this course you will learn to fly an inflatable water kite, along with safe launch and landing techniques. You will master body dragging, water Re-launching, and self rescue, along with one hand flying. By the end of the lesson you will attempt water starts on a board.
3 hrs. instruction
The Final Step: Kiteboarding WATER COURSE-2
You have already completed your Land Course and Water Course 1, now its time to master your water starts on the board, learn to ride out and back, ride upwind, and setup, launch and land the kite safely. By the end of this course you will have been taught all the necessary components to become a self-sufficient Kitesurfer. Congratulations and welcome to the sport.

Intermediate and Advanced Instruction per hour
This is a supervised course for the rider who needs help staying upwind,
wants to learn transitions, ride toeside, learn jumps, or freestyle
tricks.
Per Hour
Beginners Introductory Course, Semi-Private (Land and Water)
In this course you will learn about the wind and its effects on kiting,
how to properly and safely launch, fly and land a trainer kite. You
will learn all necessary hand signals and kite safety. Then you will
learn to fly a water kite. How to properly and safely Launch and land
the water kite, how to use the power from the kite to body drag,
re-launching the kite in the water, flying the kite with one hand, self
rescue and intro to water starting. This course is a semi-private course.
4 hrs. instruction
Beginners Lesson Package (Land and Water)
In this course you will learn about the wind and its effects on kiting,
how to properly and safely launch, fly and land a trainer kite. You
will learn all necessary hand signals and kite safety. Then you will
learn to fly a water kite. How to properly and safely Launch and land
the water kite, how to use the power from the kite to body drag,
re-launching the kite in the water, flying the kite with one hand, self
rescue and intro to water starting.
5 hrs. instruction
Complete Package (Get up and GO GO GO!!)
This is the complete course for the absolute beginner to a self-sufficient rider. We supply all the gear for this course and you will learn all aspects of Kiteboarding as outlined in the above 4 classes. This is the best package for the money and you will be a proficient kiteboarder when you are finished with this course
