Release of Liability:
Use of kiteboarding equipment requires safety training and kiteboarding is a dangerous sport. When purchasing any equipment and/or product from Cosmic Kites you assume all responsibility for any damage/injury that may result from using this equipment and/or product in any way. Cosmic Kites and its affiliate companies assumes no liability for the use of any equipment and/or products purchased, and by purchasing this equipment and/or product from us, you understand, acknowledge and accept this release of liability.
Refund Policy:
Cosmic Kites strives for excellence with our customers. Any products you have purchased from us can be returned under the following conditions: product must be in brand new unused condition with all necessary packaging. Item must be returned within 30 days of receipt and must have an RA # associated with the return. To receive an RA # simply email us: returns@cosmickites.com and request an RA #. Returns can not be accepted without an RA #. Once we receive the returned item you will be issued a store credit for the purchase price of the product minus any shipping charges. Refunds will not be issued on any used equipment, wetsuits and wetsuit related products (gloves, boots, etc), and bathing suits.
Lessons Cancellation Policy:
Our goal is to help you become a safe and proficient kiteboarder as soon as possible. Your lesson time is very important to us and we have set forth the following policy out of fairness to you the student and our instructors.
If Cosmic Kites Cancels:
At times we cancel lessons at the last minute due to unsafe and/or unfavorable conditions (ie: thunder, lightning, gusty winds, off shore winds, light wind). This is made by the discretion of the instructor based on current conditions and on safety. If we make the decision to cancel the lesson, you and your instructor will find a mutually agreed upon time for rescheduling. Refunds will not be issued as a result of unfavorable and unsafe weather conditions.
If the Customer Cancels:
We understand that people have busy schedules and at times need to change or cancel a lesson time. If you cancel at least 4 days prior to your lesson time you will be rescheduled without penalty. If you cancel within 4 days of your lesson we reserve the right not to offer a refund or raincheck on your lesson. Our lessons are taught by qualified and certified instructors that teach on a 1:1 ratio; furthermore, your lesson time is booked for you and no one else. If you show up late to your scheduled lesson that time counts twords your lesson time. If do not show up for your lesson there are absolutely no refunds and you will not have the ability to apply that money twords another lesson.
